In Luxor we stayed in the Old Winter Palace Hotel, an icon in Egyptian modern history. We had a lovely room with a balcony that overlooked the corniche and the West Bank of the Nile. The mountain you see in the background is where the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens are located.

What a beautiful hotel! It looks extremely fancy. Woo hoo...second honeymoon for sure!
The whole trip was a honeymoon, period! We never had a first honeymoon, so this trip was it! We truly had a wonderful time, lost luggage and all!
